IT ALL STARTED WITH…
Chesterton Mill is an urban oasis, one mile from Cambridge city centre, where a diverse collection of historic buildings have been re-purposed around the Grade II listed windmill to create a dynamic workplace community unlike any other in Cambridge.
We purposely designed a diverse mix of workspaces, external and internal meeting rooms, social areas and collaborative/learning spaces, which together reflect the culture of today’s businesses.
The buildings retain elements of the original frames, beams, flooring and brickwork and the flexible layouts promote a wide range of activities, provide comfort, promote wellness and ultimately encourage productivity.
HOPE STREET YARD CAMBRIDGE
Hope Street Yard Cambridge comprises 22 individual offices recently refurbished to achieve an EPC A+ score and has remained an oasis for independent and creative businesses in the heart of the vibrant community of Romsey.
It has been recognised as an exemplar project by the British Council of Offices who have shortlisted the offices for their 2024 regional award
Caxton Works comprises of 13 commercial units at ground and mezzanine levels, which include floor to ceiling windows and an exposed concrete finish.
Secured to a great mix of occupiers and use classes including retail, leisure and industrial.
Our aspiration and key priority for the site has always been to improve the look and fabric of the buildings, enhance the retail offering and bring other benefits to the site and community as we are able. Phase 1 is complete with the shop re-furbishment. Phase 2 is under way with planned improvements to our grounds and car park and the provision of homes to meet local needs.
Rectory Terrace forms part of the central retail area of Cherry village. The existing buildings poorly define the public realm and provide little sense of place. The refurbishment of this site offers an opportunity to provide high-quality architectural space that will enhance the local shopping experience, provide a few much needed apartments to serve the locality and hopefully give a sense of place to the centre of the village.
